STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, (Old and New Covenants), are our foundation of faith, (2 Timothy 3:16).  No Scripture is of private interpretation, (2 Peter 1:20-21).

 

We believe in God the Father, His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  (Ephesians 4:4-6)

 

We believe that salvation can only be received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, and the only Way of Salvation.  (John 3:16, John 14:6).

 

We believe in the continuous, present day work of the Holy Spirit, (John 15:26, 16:7-14, Acts 1:8, 2 Thes. 2:13), and the gifts, (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Cor. 12:7-11, Ephesians 4:11).

 

We believe that the Church ought to continually practice the Lord's Supper as ordained by Him, (1 Corinthians 11:23-29), and water baptism by immersion, (Matthew 28:19-20).

 

We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to gather up the elect and bring righteousness to Earth, (Matthew 24:30-31, 1 Thes. 4:13-18, 2 Thes. 2:1-3, Rev. 19:11-16).

 

We believe that God created the human race in His image and likeness, (Genesis 1:26-30, 2:7, Psalms 8:5-6).  Marriage is between man and woman, (Matthew 19:4-6).

 

We believe in giving voluntarily in order to sustain the work of the Lord, (1. Cor. 6:1-3, 2 Cor. 9).

 

We believe that the true church of Christ are those who obey His commandments, (John 14:15, 23, 15:10).

 

We believe the conduct of the believer should be one that glorifies God in all that they do by word and deed, (Colossians 3:17).
